Dear Customers,
Effective April 1, 2020 we will be implementing a charge of $2.00 for the use of nail file and buffers, which is at cost what we pay from our suppliers. Our prices have never been increased while providing quality customer service. In the meantime, the cost of supplies and inflation has risen. You will be able to keep the nail file and buffer, and we encourage you to bring them with you next time so we can reuse them on you and won’t charge you for a new set.

It's so interesting to see the behind-the-scenes costs of running a spa, especially when everything is getting more expensive. I’ve been trying to save up for a self-care day myself, but I’ve been so swamped with school that I almost looked for someone to take my online class just to get a break. Hopefully, I can balance my budget and my schedule soon to come in for a visit!
This post about new supplies arriving at the nail spa made me smile because it reminded me of how excited I get over ordinary little things too, like finally getting fresh markers and notebooks before a semester starts. It also made me think of a night not long ago when I wanted to Finish my online finance class but kept getting distracted by every tiny thing in my room, from organizing pens to scrolling for a minute, until it was way too late.
I read the post about the nail spa’s new supply charges, and it made me think about how small changes in daily routines can add up. Last semester, I was so overloaded with schoolwork that I couldn’t keep up with everything, and I actually had to get a bit of help and i need someone to take my online class for a few assignments. It made me realize that asking for support isn’t a weakness it can really help you stay on track when life gets busy. your blog makes me smile.
